Why Grandmother Louise Is Important To Me! Written by : Marcia Spark'e Gallatin 1st, she loves Lavender! And she loves Tea Rose! I remember in all the places that she lived, ~that she always compforted me and made me feel safe. She called me her Pumpkin Bumkin and told me I had spaghetti sauce for my blood. She Loves Santa’ Clause’s and Victorian Items! We would go looking at houses, and daydreaming of which one to live in. We would go to malls and window shop. We used to drink Hot chocolate Together at nighttime in the Christmas season. In Austin, she would drive me to Zilker Park to watch the Christmas lights. She always said to me, "When In Doubt, Ask The Lord, What To Do". She went to my Wheelchair Tennis Tournaments and made me feel proud. She has always been understanding. And she has always been there for me, even if it is Just on the Phone. Especially, when I was in the hospital. In 2003, She made sure to be there for me, when I was in the hospital. ~"It was a very scary moment for me in that hospital, for it was my first visit to a psyche ward, ~ and she made me feel very safe. ~Then I relized that I was there to get help, and that there was nothing to fear at all. Now, in my past, she was always there, if I had surgury. She made me feel safe before, going in for surgury. Even if it was by phone call. She helped me love the country and the city both! I love my grandmother very much and I hope she lives a very long time with no pain. I still can picture her sliding down the banister at the Harrington House in Waco,Tx. My Grandmother is still a young swinger to me! I love you Grandmother! |
